An outstanding October!

20th Oct 2017

P7 pupils have continued to create some fantastic pieces of work and are discovering lots of interesting facts about life in the British Empire during Victorian times. Our Power Point presentations were filled with lots of great information, graphics and transitions.

We visited the Life Exhibition at Bethany Church and enjoyed using tablets to scan QR codes to discover the roots, teachings, miracles, death and resurrection of Jesus.

There were lots of beautiful designs created for the covers of our Reading Journal and many pupils have now earned their Pen Licence. Well done!

One of our highlights during this month was when Mr. Mearns visited our class to give a presentation about the "Art of Writing." Everyone really enjoyed listening to Chloe's dad and our Victorian Adventure stories have been enriched by his advice. Pupils have enjoyed writing and recording their reflections for Seesaw.

Congratulations to Ben on winning two second place medals at a recent Judo competition. Thank you to Olivia from Galaxy Coaching who showed the whole school some great dance moves. You may even spot some teachers enjoying a chance to strut their stuff in the Assembly Hall.
