P7 November News

17th Nov 2017

Lots of great activities during these first few weeks of November. Many pupils received new brag tags for some super Accelerated Reading. Naomi finished sharing the Old Testament stories with us and we thought about the importance of Remembrance Day and why the poppy is used as a symbol of commeration.

We connected maths, art and design by making up the boxes for the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Everyone helped Mrs Dunlop organise and pack all of our school donations. We even helped to load these on to the van and are happy to know that our boxes will brighten up Christmas for those less fortunate than ourselves.

During Anti-Bullying week we discussed different types of bullying and what we could do to prevent this from happening. We created posters to share our ideas and thought about our slogan: ALL DIFFERENT, ALL EQUAL.

Everyone had lots of fun creating origami stars and gluing glitter on to Largymore's Reindeer for the Lisburn Christmas Reindeer Hunt. I wonder where our reindeer will be hiding this year?
