Chester’s Challenge in Year 5
The charity Chest, Heart and Stroke have been coming into school for three sessions to share with us about being healthy through their programme Chester’s Challenge.
We have been finding out about how to eat healthily using the Eat Well Guide, examining how much sugar is in different treats and thinking about the portion size of each food type that we should be eating.
We have also been thinking about how much exercise we should be doing every day. We learnt the different between medium and high intensity exercise and how much of each we should do in a week.
Jessica and Rebecca from Chest, Heart and Stroke have also been explaining to us about what a stroke or heart attack is and how we can help someone if they have a stroke or heart attack.
