Owls

P3 have been reading the story The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson. It is about a baby barn owl called Plop and he was afraid of the dark. His mummy and daddy sent him down to the ground to find out about the dark. He met lots of different people and they told him what they liked about the dark.

P3 had a special treat when Don the Owl Man brought some owls into school. They were able to stroke them. Don told them lots of intersting facts about owls.
