P4 WW2 trip to Lisburn Linen Museum
8th Mar 2018
Today P4 enjoyed a trip to Lisburn Linen Museum to take part in a WW2 workshop. They looked at an evacuee suitcase, discussed rationing and life on the home front, and even visited the blast shelter at Castle Gardens. Daniel and Amelia enjoyed sounding the siren to signal an air raid. Finally, they each used a cardboard template to recreate a gas mask. Everyone had such a fun day and Emma the guide taught them a lot.
