On Tuesday 13th December Primary 7 had their Victorian School Day.
The pupils came to school in their Victorian School children outfits and the teacher dressed up too. We enjoyed a full day of Victorian School day activities. These included in the morning reading and writing using slate boards and chalk boards to write. After break we had our arithmetic, object and drill lessons. We then had a Victorian art lesson learning how to make a picture by quilling.
For our break time we played games which would have been popular with school children in Victorian times including using hoops, skipping ropes, marbles and hopscotch.
