During these last few weeks we have been participating in lots of active learning. We visited the Island Arts Centre with P6 pupils to learn about recycling and waste management. The presenter from W5 was very interesting and we enjoyed using Quizdom devices to answer questions. Some of us even got to dress up and carry out science experiments.
Language students visited from Wallace to teach us some Spanish. We learned the months of the year, colours, weather and how to count from 1-20 in Spanish.
We have been very lucky to participate in Futsal with the Every Body Active 2020 programme with coaches from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council. We are all enjoying developing our ball skills and playing team sports.
Bible Explorer, Naomi has visited to teach us stories through drama and hand signals. We are having lots of fun.
We are creating Power Point and Book Creator presentations to show our understanding of Queen Victoria and Life in Victorian Times. Everyone enjoyed watching and listening to our Book Creator presentations.
Let's hope the next few weeks continue to be so exciting.
