Victorian Topic trip to the Irish Linen Museum
9th Dec 2022
On Friday 9th December P7 went on a school trip to the Irish Linen Museum, Lisburn.
P7 were given a very informative tour of the Irish Linen Museum learning about how linen was made and especially how the making of linen was developed in the Victorian Era.
After their tour had a Victorian School session were they practiced handwriting with ink pens and they practiced stitching.
We really enjoyed our trip to the Irish Linen Museum and we enjoyed spotting Victorian buildings as we walked back to school.
